(1) Excellent wear resistance
The H finned tube heat exchanger features a strategic in-line arrangement, where the innovative H fins divide space into smaller sections, effectively balancing the airflow. When compared to smooth tube exchangers with staggered set-ups and other designs like spiral fin exchangers, the H finned tube delivers a wear life that exceeds by 3 to 4 times under identical conditions.
(2) Fouling reduced
Fouling predominantly occurs on both the dorsal and windward sides of the tube. A staggered tube arrangement facilitates effective flushing of the tube bundle, thus significantly reducing fouling on the back side. It boasts an efficient self-cleaning capability when operated at optimal wind speeds. The H finned tube design creates straight channels flanked by soot, achieving superior soot removal efficiency when paired with a soot blower system.
