The H-finned tube is the centerpiece of heat exchange within any comprehensive exhaust gas boiler system. Its design and construction offer numerous advantages that elevate its performance.
 
(1) Excellent wear resistance
 
Engineered for endurance, the H-finned tube heat exchanger is meticulously arranged in a linear configuration. This design partitions the space into several compact zones, effectively equalizing airflow. In comparison to the traditional smooth tube heat exchangers with staggered rows or spiral finned variants, the H-finned tube showcases a wear life that surpasses these alternatives by a remarkable 3 to 4 times.
 
(2) Fouling reduced
 
Fouling typically develops on both the dorsal and windward sides of tube surfaces. The staggered tube configuration facilitates efficient flushing of the tube bundle, thereby minimizing fouling buildup on the rear side. With an optimized wind speed, the system exhibits an exceptional self-cleaning capability. Straight channels are formed along the sides of the H-finned tube, enhancing the soot removal efficiency. The use of a soot blower maximizes the cleaning effect, ensuring optimal performance.
 
(3) Reduce the resistance of exhaust gas
 
The H fins create direct channels on either side, while the spiraled angle of spiral fins directs airflow. Consequently, unlike the greater flue resistance seen in spiral fins, H fins are less prone to fouling.
