Longitudinal Finned Tube Description

Crafted with impeccable precision, our finned tubes are expertly fashioned using the resistance welding method with overlap (method 221 / RSEW). Made from superior carbon, alloy, and stainless steel, these tubes exemplify engineering excellence.

Employing a refined soft regime process—direct welding with a side current—our fins are meticulously paired and welded symmetrically on opposing sides of the tube. They boast a sophisticated U-profile shape, providing enhanced heat transfer efficiency, superior joint strength, and an even fin distribution around the tube's circumference. The fins are crafted through a gradual rolling technique, minimizing inner stress and achieving a maximum profile length of up to 7 meters. While carbon steel is the default material for optimum heat transfer, customer requests for high-strength steel, Cr-Mo-Ni steels, austenitic, ferritic, and duplex steels can be accommodated. Fin heights range from 5 to 32 mm, and angles are tailored to customer specifications. Seamless tubes, available in materials from carbon to duplex steels (ASTM, EN, GOST), are used congruently with the fins. Our precise manufacturing process assures the production of longitudinally finned tubes with tolerances of ± 6 mm.
