Compared to smooth tube heat exchangers with staggered or spiral finned designs, the H-finned version boasts a wear life that surpasses them by 3 to 4 times under similar conditions.
(2) Fouling reduced
Fouling typically forms on both the dorsal and windward sides of the tube. Thanks to the staggered tube arrangement, the tube bundle is easily flushed, resulting in significantly less fouling on the back side.
