This process forms the distinguishing fins resembling the letter 'H', thus earning the name H-finned tube. The H-finned tube's rectangular fins, nearly square in shape, boast a length approximately twice the tube's diameter, providing an enhanced extended heating surface for efficient energy transfer. Our H-finned tubes can also be expertly crafted into 'double H' finned tubes for double-tube configurations, offering a robust structural design perfect for extended tube arrays.

The H-Finned Tube stands as the premier heat exchange element within the exhaust gas boiler assembly, offering a multitude of remarkable advantages.

(1) Stellar Wear Resistance

The H-Finned Tube Heat Exchanger is ingeniously arranged in a linear formation. The H fins ingeniously segregate the airflow into distinct, balanced zones, delivering superior wear life—exceeding that of the conventional smooth tube exchangers with staggered configurations or spiral finned heat exchangers—by an impressive 3 to 4 times.

(2) Minimized Fouling

Fouling typically occurs on the dorsal and windward sides of the tube. The staggered configuration makes the tube bundle easy to clean, with significantly reduced fouling on the backside. Thanks to its excellent self-cleaning ability at optimal wind speeds. Straight channels form on both sides of the H-Finned Tube, optimizing soot removal, particularly when using a soot blower.

(3) Diminished Exhaust Gas Resistance

With straight channels on either side shaped by the H fins and spirals steering the airflow, the flue resistance from spiral fins, prone to fouling, is significantly higher than that of H fins. Thus, H-Finned Tubes can effectively lower wind resistance, decreasing both fan operation and associated investment costs.
