The H-finned tube heat exchanger is meticulously arranged in a linear fashion, where the H fins ingeniously divide space into several compact areas. This design equilibrates air flow, offering a striking contrast to smooth tube heat exchangers with staggered arrangements or spiral finned variants. Under identical conditions, the H-finned tube's wear life impressively outperforms by a factor of 3 to 4 times.
(2) Minimizes Fouling
Fouling primarily manifests on the dorsal and windward sides of the tubes. The strategically staggered tube design facilitates effective flushing of the tube bundle, thus reducing backside fouling.
