The H-finned tube heat exchanger, expertly arranged in-line, divides the space into a series of smaller sections. This configuration ensures even airflow distribution, setting it apart from staggered or spiral finned heat exchangers. Under similar conditions, it offers wear life that is 3 to 4 times greater, highlighting its durability.

(2) Reduced Fouling

Fouling typically develops on the dorsal and windward sides of the tubes. The staggered tube arrangement efficiently cleans the tube bundle, minimizing fouling on the backside. An optimal wind speed enhances its self-cleaning capability, ensuring efficient operation. Straight channels form on both sides of the H-finned tube, which, when paired with a soot blower, maximizes soot expulsion efficacy.
