Our Longitudinal Finned Tubes are crafted with meticulous precision from carbon, alloy, and stainless steel, employing a sophisticated resistance welding method with an overlap technique (method 221 / RSEW). This ensures unparalleled quality and durability in every tube we manufacture.
We employ a gentle, highly efficient welding regime (direct welding with side current), where fins are expertly welded in pairs on opposite sides of the tube, forming a U-profile that significantly amplifies heat transfer efficiency, enhances joint strength, and enables a perfectly even distribution around the tube. The fins undergo a gradual rolling process, ensuring minimal internal stress and maximizing the profile length up to an impressive 7 meters. Typically composed of carbon steel for optimal heat transfer, our fins can also be customized with high-strength, Cr-Mo-Ni, austenitic, ferritic, and duplex steels upon request. The fin height varies from 5 to 32 mm, tailored to customer specifications. Utilizing seamless tubes in matching materials, from carbon to duplex steels (ASTM, EN, GOST), our production method guarantees that we can consistently manufacture longitudinally finned tubes with precise tolerances of ± 6 mm.
