This design enhances air flow uniformity, setting it apart from conventional smooth tube heat exchangers arranged in a staggered formation or units with spiral fins. Under equivalent conditions, the durability of the H fins outlasts traditional models by a factor of 3 to 4.
(2) Minimized Fouling
Fouling typically manifests on both the dorsal and windward sides of the tube, yet this design offers a solution. With a staggered tube arrangement, the bundle is easily flushed, leading to significantly less fouling on the back side.
