Advantages of H-finned tube:

The H-finned tube is the cornerstone of heat exchange within the exhaust gas boiler. Its remarkable design brings several compelling advantages that make it stand out in boiler applications.

(1) Excellent wear resistance

The H-finned tube heat exchanger is ingeniously designed with a linear arrangement of H fins, creating multiple small areas that ensure air flow is evenly distributed. Compared to conventional smooth tube heat exchangers and spiral finned heat exchangers with staggered configurations, the H-finned tube exhibits extraordinary wear resistance, boasting a lifespan 3 to 4 times longer under similar conditions.

(2) Fouling reduced

Fouling typically forms on both the dorsal and windward sides of tubes. However, the design of the H-finned tube addresses this issue effectively. Its staggered tube arrangement allows for efficient cleaning of the tube bundle, resulting in significantly reduced fouling on the backside. Moreover, it features a robust self-cleaning capability when operating at optimal wind speeds. Straight channels formed on both sides of the H finned tube enhance soot removal, achieving optimal soot clearance when a soot blower is employed.

(3) Reduce the resistance of exhaust gas

The strategic formation of straight channels by the H fins, combined with the directional guidance provided by the spiral angle of the spiral fins, minimizes fouling and significantly decreases flue resistance compared to other fin types. Consequently, using H-finned tubes lowers wind resistance, thus reducing fan operation costs and initial investment.

(4) Fins and steel pipe welding fusion rate is high

The unique zigzag structure of the H fins (patented technology) elevates the weld fusion rate for fins and steel pipes to a remarkable 98% or higher, ensuring an exceptional heat transfer coefficient.

(5) Compact structure, high heat efficiency

With an expansive heating area per unit length, the H-finned tube's efficiency excels by being 7.8 times greater than that of a smooth tube. Its argon arc welded butt joints far surpass the quality of manual welding.
