Advantages of H-finned tube:
The H-finned tube is the cornerstone of heat exchange within the exhaust gas boiler. Its remarkable design brings several compelling advantages that make it stand out in boiler applications.
(1) Excellent wear resistance
The H-finned tube heat exchanger is ingeniously designed with a linear arrangement of H fins, creating multiple small areas that ensure air flow is evenly distributed. Compared to conventional smooth tube heat exchangers and spiral finned heat exchangers with staggered configurations, the H-finned tube exhibits extraordinary wear resistance, boasting a lifespan 3 to 4 times longer under similar conditions.
(2) Fouling reduced
Fouling typically forms on both the dorsal and windward sides of tubes. However, the design of the H-finned tube addresses this issue effectively. Its staggered tube arrangement allows for efficient cleaning of the tube bundle, resulting in significantly reduced fouling on the backside. Moreover, it features a robust self-cleaning capability when operating at optimal wind speeds. Straight channels formed on both sides of the H finned tube enhance soot removal, achieving optimal soot clearance when a soot blower is employed.
