L-Foot Fin / Wrap-On Fin

L-Foot Tension Wound Finned Tubes also recognized as Wrap-On Finned Tubes, are expertly crafted for applications where temperatures are below 300 degrees Fahrenheit, offering essential tube wall protection in low-temperature settings. L-Foot tension wound finned tubes feature a tightly wrapped thin aluminium strip around the tube's circumference for optimal heat transfer. The 'foot' formed on one side of the fin strip gives the L-Foot its name, ensuring a secure fit. This strip is expertly wound, with the foot pressing firmly on the tube's surface, guaranteeing complete contact and stability. Each L's short horizontal limb ensures total base-tube surface coverage, maximizing efficiency. The inherent tension in the fin strip, as it wraps around the tube, ensures the fin foot is forcefully seated, maintaining firm contact and stability. L-footed finned tubing is a top choice for efficient heat transfer at lower temperatures. The robust L-shaped design keeps fins secure, withstanding heat cycling and the stresses of high-velocity air vibrations.
