Advantages of H-finned tube:
The H-finned tube is a crucial heat exchange component within the exhaust gas boiler system, offering an array of remarkable advantages.
(1) Outstanding wear resistance
Designed in a linear arrangement, the H-finned tube heat exchanger utilizes H fins to segment space into smaller areas, which optimizes air flow. Unlike smooth tube exchangers with staggered configurations or spiral finned exchangers, this design significantly enhances wear life by 3 to 4 times under similar conditions.
(2) Minimized fouling
Fouling typically forms on both the dorsal and windward sides of the tubes. The staggered tube arrangement facilitates easy cleaning of the tube bundle, resulting in reduced fouling on the back side. At optimal wind speeds, the tubes exhibit excellent self-cleaning properties. Straight channels on both sides of the H finned tubes allow for efficient soot collection, achieving optimal soot removal when combined with a soot blower.
(3) Less exhaust gas resistance
With the H fins creating straight channels and the spiral fins guiding airflow direction, H fins are less prone to fouling and offer lower flue resistance compared to spiral fins. Thus, employing H-finned tubes minimizes wind resistance, thereby decreasing fan operational costs and investment.
(4) High welding fusion rate between fins and steel pipe
Thanks to the unique, zigzag (patented) structure of the H fins, the welding fusion rate between fins and steel pipes exceeds 98%, ensuring an excellent heat transfer coefficient for the tubes.
