The H-finned tube serves as the pivotal heat exchange element within the exhaust gas boiler system. These tubes offer an array of remarkable advantages that enhance performance and reliability.

(1) Superior wear resistance

The H-finned tube heat exchanger boasts an inline arrangement, where the H fins ingeniously divide the space into multiple small zones. This design fosters uniform air flow, significantly enhancing wear resistance and surpassing smooth tube and spiral finned heat exchangers by 3 to 4 times under identical conditions.

(2) Minimized fouling

Fouling typically occurs on the dorsal and windward sides of the tube, posing a common operational challenge. The staggered tube arrangement facilitates effective flushing of the tube bundles, reducing fouling on the back side. With an optimal wind speed, these tubes exhibit an impressive self-cleaning capability. Straight channels formed on either side of the H fins allow for maximum soot removal, especially when utilizing a soot blower.

(3) Lower exhaust gas resistance

H fins create straight channels, whereas spiral fins steer airflow direction, making them more prone to fouling and consequently, creating more flue resistance than H fins. By employing H-finned tubes, wind resistance is minimized, reducing both fan operation and investment costs.

(4) High weld fusion rate between fins and steel pipes

The H fins’ unique patented zigzag design ensures a weld fusion rate exceeding 98%, guaranteeing an exceptional heat transfer coefficient for these tubes.

The H-finned tube offers a heating area per unit length that is 7.8 times greater than that of a smooth tube. With all butt welds executed via argon arc welding, the welding quality vastly surpasses that of manual welding.
