The H finned tube heat exchanger is meticulously aligned in series, where the H fins divide the area into multiple smaller sections, efficiently balancing the airflow. Compared to smooth tube exchangers with staggered setups or spiral finned exchangers, it offers a wear lifespan that is 3-4 times longer under similar conditions.
(2) Minimized Fouling
Fouling generally forms on the dorsal and windward sides of the tube. The staggered configuration facilitates easy cleaning of the tube bundle, significantly reducing fouling on the back side. At optimal wind speeds, the tube exhibits impressive self-cleaning properties. Straight channels formed on both sides of the H finned tube enhance soot removal efficiency when used with a soot blower.
