The comprehensive connection between the fins and the base tube results in outstanding heat transfer and elevates the thermal performance of the finned tubes to up to 2.5 times higher.
The continuous weld effectively prevents notch effects, eliminating corrosion and crack formation, even in the presence of oscillating finned tubes.
Minimal base metal heating during welding, combined with high travel speeds up to 20m/min., significantly reduce the heat-affected zone in the base tube. Complete melting of the tube and associated metallurgical transformation of the parent metals are thus eliminated.
