Titanium tubes are lightweight, have high strength, and superior mechanical properties. Widely used in heat exchange equipment such as tube heat exchangers, coil heat exchangers, serpentine heat exchangers, condensers, evaporators, and conveying pipelines. Many nuclear power plants use titanium tubes as the standard tubes for their units.
Datang now has a complete production chain from sponge titanium smelting, extrusion of tube billets, cold rolling, vacuum annealing, acid washing, and more. Testing such as ultrasonic exploration, eddy current, water pressure, air pressure, chemical analysis, and destructive testing can be carried out to ensure the quality of the pipes. We have upgraded multiple sets of equipment and now adopt advanced high-speed rolling mills equipped with centrifugal filtering oil and oil cooling devices, ensuring faster speed and more stable quality. The new vacuum annealing furnace with furnace cooling has further improved annealing efficiency, and we have introduced a new type of ultrasonic testing machine that can meet more stringent quality requirements. Other equipment such as automatic straightening machines, inner hole refueling machines, and water treatment equipment have all been put into use.
After decades of technological research, talent accumulation, and equipment upgrading, we have achieved a normal annual production of 2000 tons of extruded pipe blanks and 1500 tons of finished pipes.
