Longitudinal Finned Tube Description

Our high-precision longitudinal finned tubes are masterfully crafted from carbon, alloy, and stainless steel, utilizing the advanced resistance welding method with overlap (method 221 / RSEW).

We employ a soft regime with direct welding using side current, ensuring each fin is meticulously welded in pairs on opposing sides of the tube. The innovative U-profile shape of the fins surpasses traditional contact surface shapes, offering superior heat transfer efficiency, reinforcing joint strength, and achieving a uniform fin distribution around the tube circumference. The fins are expertly shaped through a gradual rolling process, minimizing internal stress within the final profile. This sophisticated method allows for a maximum profile length of up to 7 meters. Typically crafted from carbon steel for excellent heat transfer, our fins can be customized to suit client specifications, utilizing high-strength steel, Cr-Mo-Ni steels, and austenitic, ferritic, or duplex steels. Fin heights range from 5 to 32 mm, with the angling tailored to customer requirements. Seamless tubes, available in the same material range as the fins, are fabricated from carbon to duplex steels (ASTM, EN, GOST), with production methods ensuring longitudinally finned tubes within a tolerance of ± 6 mm.

Our manufacturing capabilities cater to any quantity, from a single piece to large series. Tubes can be supplied as straight or U-bent, and we also deliver comprehensive equipment solutions.
