Longitudinal Finned Tube Description

Our finned tubes are crafted with impeccable precision using the advanced method of resistance welding with overlap (method 221 / RSEW). These tubes are available in carbon, alloy, and stainless steel, ensuring unmatched quality and durability.

Utilizing a soft regime process, our tubes feature direct welding with side current where fins are always welded in pairs on opposite sides, forming a U-profile. This innovative design enhances heat transfer efficiency, strengthens the joint, and ensures a uniform fin distribution around the tube's circumference. The fins are meticulously shaped through gradual rolling, minimizing internal stress and ensuring the profile reaches a maximum length of 7 meters. Typically crafted from carbon steel for superior heat conduction, our fins can also be tailored to specific requirements, using high-strength or specialized steels like Cr-Mo-Ni, austenitic, ferritic, or duplex steels. Fin heights range from 5 to 32 mm, with angles customizable per customer specification. Seamless tubes in a similar material spectrum are utilized, ranging from carbon to duplex steels, conforming to ASTM, EN, or GOST standards. Stringent production methods guarantee longitudinally finned tubes are manufactured with a tolerance of ± 6 mm.
