Advantages of H-finned tube:
The H-finned tube serves as the essential heat exchange component within the entire exhaust gas boiler system. It offers several remarkable advantages that set it apart.
(1) Outstanding Wear Resistance
In a lined arrangement, the H finned tube heat exchanger leverages its unique design to divide the space into multiple smaller areas. This facilitates uniform air flow, resulting in a wear life that is 3 to 4 times greater compared to smooth tube heat exchangers with staggered arrangements or spiral finned heat exchangers.
(2) Minimized Fouling
Fouling typically forms on both the dorsal and windward sides of the tube. The staggered arrangement effectively rinses the tube bundle, reducing fouling on the backside. When operating at optimal wind speeds, the tube boasts a self-cleaning capability. Straight channels formed on either side of the H finned tube yield superior soot removal when employing a soot blower.
(3) Reduced Exhaust Gas Resistance
H fins create straight channels, while spiral fins guide airflow direction. Unlike spiral fins, H fins are less prone to fouling and offer lower flue resistance. Consequently, H-finned tubes decrease wind resistance, subsequently lowering fan operation and investment costs.
