Compared to traditional smooth tube exchangers with staggered arrangements and spiral fin options, H finned tubes significantly outperform by boasting a wear life that is 3 to 4 times longer.
(2) Fouling reduced
Fouling typically occurs on the dorsal and windward sides of conventional tubes. The cleverly staggered tube arrangement enables efficient flushing of the tube bundle, minimizing fouling on the backside.
