Longitudinal Finned Tube Description

Crafted with meticulous precision, our finned tubes are engineered from carbon, alloy, and stainless steel, employing a sophisticated resistance welding method with overlap (method 221 / RSEW).

Utilizing a soft regime (direct welding with side current), our fins are expertly welded in pairs on opposing sides of the tube, adopting a U-profile shape. This innovative design surpasses the traditional contact surface, offering superior heat transfer efficiency, enhanced joint strength, and uniform fin distribution around the tube. The fins are shaped through gradual rolling, minimizing internal stresses in the final profile. This technique allows the profile to reach an impressive length of up to 7 meters. Typically manufactured from carbon steel for optimal heat transfer, the fins can also be customized to meet specific customer requirements, utilizing high-strength steel, Cr-Mo-Ni steels, and a variety of austenitic, ferritic, and duplex steels. Fin heights range from 5 to 32 mm, with angles tailored according to customer specifications. Seamless tubes, crafted from a similar range of materials—from carbon to duplex steels (ASTM, EN, GOST)—ensure precision manufacturing within a tolerance of ± 6 mm.
