Advantages of H-finned tube:
The H-finned tube is the principal heat exchange component within the exhaust gas boiler system. It offers remarkable benefits that make it a superior choice for high-performance applications.
(1) Excellent wear resistance
In a meticulously arranged line, the H-finned tube heat exchanger excels by separating spaces into multiple small areas. This unique design optimizes air flow distribution, resulting in a wear life that is 3 to 4 times greater than that of traditional smooth tube heat exchangers, staggered arrangements, or spiral finned heat exchangers.
(2) Fouling reduced
Fouling is commonly observed on the dorsal and windward sides of tubes. The strategic staggered arrangement of tubes facilitates easy flushing of the tube bundle, significantly minimizing fouling on the backside. It also features an impressive self-cleaning function when operated at an optimal wind speed. The straight channels formed on both sides of the H-finned tube efficiently manage soot, achieving optimal soot removal when using a soot blower.
(3) Reduce the resistance of exhaust gas
The straight channels created by H fins guide airflow effectively, reducing the flue resistance significantly compared to spiral fins, which are more susceptible to fouling.
