Longitudinal Finned Tube Description

Our Longitudinal Finned Tubes are crafted with unparalleled precision, utilizing the resilient construction of carbon, alloy, and stainless steel. Through the advanced resistance welding method with overlap (known as method 221 / RSEW), we ensure superior quality and durability.

We employ a gentle welding process (direct welding with side current) where fins are precisely paired and welded on opposite sides of the tube, forming a distinctive U-profile. This innovative design not only enhances heat transfer efficiency, but also reinforces the joint's strength, ensuring an even distribution of fins around the tube's circumference. By shaping fins through gradual rolling, we minimize internal stress, allowing us to achieve profiles up to an impressive 7 meters in length. Typically made from carbon steel for its excellent heat transfer properties, the fins can also be customized from high-strength steel, Cr-Mo-Ni steels, or austenitic, ferritic, and duplex steels, tailored to meet customer specifications. The fin height ranges from 5 to 32 mm, with angles customizable per client requirements. Our seamless tubes, compatible with a variety of materials from carbon to duplex steels (ASTM, EN, GOST), are crafted with precision, maintaining strict tolerances of ± 6 mm for optimal performance.
