A "foot" is meticulously formed on one side of the fin strip, giving rise to the iconic L-Foot designation. The strip is tightly coiled around the tube, with the foot maintaining secure contact with the outer surface, ensuring stability. The horizontal limb of each L shape remains in contact with the base tube surface, providing complete coverage. The tension in the fin strip ensures the fin foot is forcefully seated on the tube, maintaining a firm grip for optimal heat transfer.
