Advantages of H-finned tube:
The H-finned tube serves as the principal heat exchange component in the entire exhaust gas boiler system. These H-finned tubes are renowned for their numerous advantages.
(1) Exceptional Wear Resistance
The H-finned tube heat exchanger is meticulously arranged in line, with H fins that divide the space into several small areas, effectively equalizing airflow. When compared to smooth tube heat exchangers with staggered arrangements or spiral finned heat exchangers, the wear life of the H-finned tube is impressively higher by 3 to 4 times under identical conditions.
(2) Minimized Fouling
Fouling typically forms on the dorsal and windward sides of the tube. Thanks to the staggered arrangement of the tube, the tube bundle is easily flushed, resulting in reduced fouling on the backside. It boasts an efficient self-cleaning function when operating at an appropriate wind speed. On both sides of the H-finned tube, straight channels are formed, which facilitate optimal soot removal when utilizing a soot blower.
(3) Lower Exhaust Gas Resistance
The formation of straight channels by the H fins on both sides, along with the spiral angle of spiral fins directing airflow, minimizes fouling and reduces flue resistance compared to spiral fins.
