The robust connection between the fins and the base tube results in exceptional heat transfer, boosting the thermal performance of the finned tubes by up to 2.5 times.
The continuous weld eliminates notch effects and prevents corrosion and crack formation, even in the event of potentially oscillating finned tubes.
With minimal base metal heating during welding and rapid travel speeds of up to 20m/min, the heat-affected zone in the base tube is significantly reduced. Consequently, complete tube melting and metallurgical transformation of the parent metals are effectively avoided.
