L-Foot Fin / Wrap-On Fin

L-Foot Tension Wound Finned Tubes also recognized as Wrap-On Finned Tubes, are ideal for applications where temperatures remain below 300°F, offering moderate tube wall protection. L-Foot tension wound finned tubes feature a delicate aluminum fin strip, meticulously wound around the tube in a helical pattern. An 'L-shape foot' is prefabricated on one side of the fin strip, lending the name L-Foot. This strip is meticulously wrapped around the tube, with the foot in constant contact with the outer surface. The short horizontal limb of each L is tightly pressed against the base tube surface, ensuring full coverage. The tension in the fin strip during wrapping secures the fin foot forcefully to the tube, maintaining the fin's stability. Our L-footed finned tubing is designed to maximize heat transfer, even at lower temperatures, setting a new standard in efficiency.
