KL Footed Fin / Knurled L Footed Fin

A spinning tool intricately knurls the base tube, meshing the fin's foot into the knurling, achieving a firm bond and superior thermal performance.
When the correct fin strip is used, one fin foot precisely meets the next, leaving no gaps. This design effectively shields the tube from corrosion. Fins are securely attached at both ends, akin to L fins, to prevent unwinding. In metal applications, KL-Foot tension wound finned tubes are the preferred choice.
