The H-finned tube is an essential heat exchange element within the entire exhaust gas boiler. Its innovative design and engineering provide several distinctive advantages.
(1) Superior Wear Resistance
With an inline configuration, the H fins segment the space into smaller areas, equalizing airflow. Compared to smooth tube heat exchangers with a staggered layout, and spiral finned heat exchangers, the H finned tube boasts a wear life that is 3 to 4 times longer under identical conditions.
(2) Reduced Fouling Potential
Fouling typically forms on both the dorsal and windward side of tubes. The staggered tube arrangement facilitates easier cleaning of the tube bundle, leading to significantly reduced fouling on the backside.
