The strip is wound with precision around the tube, ensuring the foot maintains firm contact with the tube’s outer surface. The cleverly designed short horizontal limb of each L offers complete base-tube surface coverage. The tension within the fin strip, as it is expertly wrapped, ensures the fin foot is securely seated on the tube, holding the fin steadfast in place.
