Ingeniously designed, the H finned tube heat exchanger is arranged in a linear fashion. The H fins masterfully partition spaces into smaller sections, ensuring a balanced airflow. Compared to the smooth tube heat exchanger with its staggered design, as well as the spiral finned heat exchanger, the H-finned setup delivers a wear life that is impressively 3 to 4 times longer under equivalent conditions.
(2) Minimized Fouling
Fouling typically emerges on the dorsal and windward sides of the tube. The staggered configuration facilitates easy flushing of the tube bundle, substantially minimizing fouling on the backside.
