The H-finned tube stands as the premier heat exchange element within the entire exhaust gas boiler, boasting a myriad of advantages that set it apart.

(1) Outstanding Wear Resistance

Ingeniously designed, the H finned tube heat exchanger is arranged in a linear fashion. The H fins masterfully partition spaces into smaller sections, ensuring a balanced airflow. Compared to the smooth tube heat exchanger with its staggered design, as well as the spiral finned heat exchanger, the H-finned setup delivers a wear life that is impressively 3 to 4 times longer under equivalent conditions.

(2) Minimized Fouling

Fouling typically emerges on the dorsal and windward sides of the tube. The staggered configuration facilitates easy flushing of the tube bundle, substantially minimizing fouling on the backside. When operated at optimal wind speeds, the tube showcases excellent self-cleaning capabilities. Straight channels on either side of the H finned tube efficiently direct soot. When paired with a soot blower, it achieves optimal soot reduction.

(3) Reduced Exhaust Gas Resistance

The straight channels formed by the H fins, combined with the spiral angle of the fins, direct airflow seamlessly. Unlike spiral fins that are prone to fouling and higher resistance, the H fins offer a superior flow with less flue resistance.
